Joy in my Heart

I added a sepia layer to this photo of my daughter and changed the opacity to

50% so some of the color would come through but it would give it an aged effect

for these papers.

My daughter has never been a thumb sucker but when she's tired she sucks on

the back of her hand. She has always done it since she was a wee little baby so I

wanted to capture this sweet little trait of hers before she outgrows it!

This LO just jumped off the page at me when I came into the gallery! What a wonderful job you've done here. I love everything about this - the technique on the photo, the embellishments, the framing, the word art ... everything. I also love your explanation about what she's doing (as a thumb sucker from way back!!), I know people have suggested to me that including that in the LO would add to the LO itself ... I think it would in this case ... but I do love your LO the way it is!

What a gorgeous daughter, great photography!! Wonderful!

THis is so very pretty - I love the soft effect you got with the sepia layer, as well as the embellishments that enhance the softness (the flowers, faded out border on the edge)

This is a beautiful layout and photo of your daughter. I love the flowers going down the side and the other paper elements behind the photo. I like what you did treating the photo with sepia and still letting the color through. Your daughter will appreciate this when she is older :)

Absolutley lovely! The photo is great and with the sepia effect it looks so dreamy. I love the thin inside frame around it too. The colour/material choices are great, the flowers are lovely and capturing that little baby habit is priceless.
