michgirl Posted January 10, 2010 Share Posted January 10, 2010 I always have went with the ATI cards - mine is about 1 1/2 yrs old. At the time I got it, it was the DDR3 memory and 512 mb, I think it is the ATI 3750. Of course, they now have a new line. If you are not a gamer, don't got for the extremely fast or high end card, as they require a higher watt power supply and tend to run hotter. Go for mid-stream, 512 to 1 mb memory. Adobe's web site lists all that are compatible with CS4, you might want to check them out and read some reviews. Getting a new computer is so exciting!
