I noticed my daughter doing what you just explained. technology - it can be scary they know where we are all the time! I like not having a cell phone
Emily Abramson
That's so true. I remember back in the 80's how offended I would get when I saw people talking on their HUGE brick phones at lunch. i said, "I will never be one of those people". HAHA. I do love my phone but for the camera and email, more than the phone itself.
MariJ
Very cool Emily. I don't have a smart phone and my Mac is sadly pretty old at this point (SIX YEARS is OLD??) but this sounds like fun! I saw the new OS was called Yosemite, very cool!

AnnBK
OK...big Mac person here. I don't have an iPhone, but I do have an iPad. Is this upgrade something that I will want/use? I didn't get the last one, because it sounded like it had some serious problems.
alsoarty
Yosemite is not for iPad. I upgraded my iPad, and then got the upgraded fix. It works perfectly.
Emily Abramson
i have not upgraded my ipad yet, to the new operating system, IF that is something i need to do. the yosemite helps your apple products communicate with each other better. so yes, i would think that you would love it, ann! alsoarty
I just don't like that my .jpg images show as a jpg and not the actual picture.... I should name them then I'll know what they are. But so far so good. I like the way Safari works now. It's still my favorite browser.
jhbren
Thanks for the information, ladies. I just saw the update link this morning, and set it aside (so I could go to the chat!). I skipped the last upgrade; as Ann said, I'd heard of problems. But I have an iPhone, used for messages, photos, and a gazillion reminders, and an iPad used mostly for games. This may be worth checking out.
