Not entirely happy with this. The week was filled with 2 very different events, so it was hard to coordinate colors and embellies. I guess I'll do more girly/baby stuff when I do the shower layouts.

 

Journaling:

This week was all about a baby shower and a birthday. I finished up some baby shower crafts I had been working on- an H and a banner for decorations. Friday Caitlyn, Jennifer and I drove down to WestLake to help get ready for Saturday’s shower. The shabby chic decor turned out so cute! Laura Jean was so happy with the baby shower. We drove home Saturday evening, then spent Sunday resting and getting ready for the week. Caitlyn and I bought some songs on iTunes- it’s a good thing we have similar taste in music. Wednesday was Shane’s birthday, but because the weather was supposed to be rainy and nasty we went out to eat Tuesday. We went to a new restaurant -Gino’s East of Chicago Deep Dish Pizza, then we went home and had chocolate cake.

Melanie Im really enjoying your project spreads. I know you said you weren't overly keen on this one but I really like the combination. It is just like everyday, full of bits of this and that but when you put it all together makes something beautiful :)
