This week was a pretty busy week. On 10/1, 10/2, and 10/3,  we photographed 17 families in our Fall Photo Session with Krusty out at Bill and Kay Peter’s farmstead. We battled rain on Saturday and bright sun on Sunday. We visited Grandma Blumenstein during our lunch break on Saturday after going for Chinese food. Sunday night, we had a “date night” of going out to dinner. We tried the Wooden Tie in Pierron. We had been wanting to try it for awhile now. It was pretty good.  After dinner, we got some groceries at Walmart. I made a great Deer Cheeseburger soup (my own recipe) from some peppers that Mom and Dad gave us, plus some leftover potato that needed eaten up, and deer burger that Mindy gave us.  It turned out great! Monday, 10/4, was Dad’s birthday. We gave him a face for the tree. He loved it. I like it too because the beard is cupped so you can put bird or squirrel food in it. We spend the rest of the week with me working during the day and then over to Mindy’s at night to help her prepare the house for listing. We stopped at Dairy King for dinner on 10/6. I don’t know why, but every time I get a soda with a straw wrapper, I have to fold it like this while I am waiting for my food. On 10/7, we needed some supplies for Mindy’s house, so we went to Fairview Heights. We tried a new place to eat “The Chicken Salad Chick”.  It was soooo good! And, they even give you a sugar cookie as a treat. On the way there, we saw a pretty double rainbow. It was a nice evening, and the great ending to Week 40.
