This is the 7th page of FIL's 80th birthday album that I am making for him. I haven't bored you all with every single page, but this one turned out especially pleasing to me and I thought I would share. I have been learning tons in this project - namely to use the paper templates to add texture to a background!! Boy, was I excited to figure that out! I also used embellis from several different collections - something else that I haven't done alot of and I like the result.

 

This LO actually started from a scraplift of Marnie Adams - Beautiful

and quickly took on a life of its own.

I'm glad you put this page up Amy - GORGEOUS! The lovely colors and the flowers and edge shapes make this a very romantic and pretty page. I love how you used that vertical stripe paper, draws your attention to the engaged couple - while also pointing out the rickshaw driver, suddenly making this a very exotic layout as well.

Excellent job with your flower clusters and the beaded metal scrolls.
