Christy's Photoshop Elements Fun With Filters Class is fun!
Cutout from Lesson One is applied to the sewing machine. TFL!
Journaling:
Mom and I never had very much in common, but when I was twelve years old I asked her to teach me to sew. We shopped for a Simplicity pattern and fabric together and she showed me how to read the pattern and how to cut out the fabric for my 1963 A-line style dress. She taught me how to thread her beloved Singer Featherweight machine, the one she bought for $100 because it included “ten free sewing lessons with your purchase.” Then she left me with my only other sewing instruction, which was “don’t break anything.” I didn’t, and I was on my way to a lifetime of love of sewing, the one interest that Mom and I always shared.
