I've updated the Challenge Chase Tracker.

January 30th SPEEDBUMP – We know you get busy and life’s little speed bumps can get in the way, so today’s task is to work on any task you haven’t completed. If you’ve finished them all, congratulations!

The Challenge Chase Tracker is updated.

January 29th TASK 23 - Add some journaling, a date and any finishing touches to your layout. When you are finished upload your layout to the Jumpstart January Gallery. REQUIREMENT: Share a link to your layout in this thread.

January 28th TASK 22 - Create a title for your layout using at least one alpha. You may use a font as well if you wish.

January 27th TASK 21 - Add just three embellishments to your layout. This is in addition to any embellishment you used in yesterday’s task.

January 26th TASK 20 - Find one large photo for your layout and frame it in some way. You don’t have to use an actual frame, be creative if you wish.

The Challenge Chase Tracker is updated.

January 25th TASK 19 - Let’s start a new layout. Create a blended background for your layout using at least three different papers. You may use any method you'd like to create your background, including brushes and templates.

I think the comments need to be approved to keep the spammers at bay.

January 24th SPEEDBUMP - Go to the Scrap Girls Blog and leave a comment on a post of your choice. If you'd like you may post a link to blog post you commented on.

January 23rd LAYOUT TASK 18 - Finish your layout, don't forget the date, and upload it to the Jumpstart January Gallery. REQUIREMENT: Share a link to your layout in this thread.

January 22nd TASK 17 - Add at least five lines of journaling to describe your everyday photo(s).

That is why I mix collections so much in my everyday scrapping. You could just change the colors of a favorite collection to work as well.

January 21st TASK 16 - Start working on your layout, making sure you include the colors from your swatch and your photo(s) from TASK 14.

I haven't tried using the action recently, but it could be software changes that are causing problems. You don't have to use the action.

January 20th TASK 15 - Choose a color scheme for your layout. Try creating a color scheme from the photos you took in TASK 14. How to Create Color Swatches from Photos. Another option is to find a collection that works well with your photo(s) and choose the colors for your swatch from it. Share your color swatch here if you’d like.

I finished listening to it yesterday, or maybe the day before. Kind of losing track of the days with everything being closed down for almost a week.

We didn't have power for most of the afternoon. It is still windy out, so I thought I'd post tomorrow's task now. Happy that it was our first outage this week, unlike some of our neighbors. January 19th TASK 14 - Documenting the everyday moments is just as important as the big events. Pick up your camera or phone and take a photo(s) of some everyday things to use for your next layout.

January 18th SPEEDBUMP - Check your back-ups! Even if you use an online service or scheduled software for your back-ups, it is a good idea to check and make sure they are running as you have them set up. Briefly share your back-up system.
