I read so many books, but recall reading the strip comics, we would swap the books with friends and my sisters. On summer days, I would read on the beach after a swim or whilst eating our picnic or at home on a rainy day.

I was so surprised when I looked it up on google to find that these are still going strong, I extracted the photos from Google image.

Mum and Dad were always reading and us girls did the same, still do TFL

What lovely memories, Marie and I forgot about reading the Newspaper Comics and Comic books, too! I love the happy feel to your page - your love of books and reading really shines through.

lol...I still read the comics! My father-in-law saves them for me from the Sunday paper every week. Nice job on the extractions and the beach theme. :)
