Oh, Belle I thought this was lovely when I saw the little thumbnail and gorgeous when I clicked on it for full sized! Nikki and your photo are beautiful and the soft colors you used are so pretty and complement her coloring. I think you did a great job.

I love your photo! Nikki looks beautiful. I like the stitched edge, too. Isn't it funny about brushes? We ALL seem not to use our own very much. In my case, I just use the already-designed SG brushes... so easy.

I think you did a super job with your brushwork, however. Good for you! No color CC's from me; color is such a personal choice and I think all colors are beautiful. I like your choice of soft pastels for Nikki, however. They suit her.

There is nothing wrong with your colors. I love them together. Like Diane said, color choice is up to every individual. And these colors compliment your cute photo of Nikki beautifully. Great brushwork too.

Before I read your comments, I thought, "What lovely pastel color for a little girl!" I think this is a very sweet page. I like the creative use of brushes and the stitching on the edge of the photo.
