My Holiday Decorations

I used my first two photos of the new year, because I couldn't get the whole scene in one photo. I have an old trunk in my room and I covered it up with a red snowflake coverlet. I then decorated it with Santa, Mrs. Claus, their chairs, Santa's Sleigh and Reindeer, ice skaters, a one horse sleigh with a man and woman sitting in the sleigh, park benches with men and women sitting on the benches, gates, trees, and a covered bridge. The ice skaters and the men and women are all made of lead, so they discontinued production on these when they found out that lead was poison. These figurines were always put under our Christmas Tree along with skiers and houses that you put lights in the back of. I loved to sit on the floor and just stare at the scene I created under the tree. It was so pretty with the tree lights and houses all lit up.
I added some bling with the butterfly, the berries and the paper overlay.
