When I first saw the thumbnail, I thought this was a banquet sever loaded with goodies. Well, it is - kind of ! My favorite tradition at Christmas, too. Oh, well done! Your LO not only showcases the pictures with a lovely home, but it is so true to the time frame. I always encourage people to do this when they do heritage LOs. The paper is so reminiscent of soft calicoes, the colors very right and the sweet simplicity of your LO shows us a bit less complicated time, but one full of joy at the war's end. Very well done!

Hooray - you journaled her story! I am always so delighted when I see the stories in print with the LOs. Truly a treasure. You go, girl! Have you researched her birth information at FamilySearch? My 2X great grandparents were German Prussians, and I have found a fair amount of extracted records information n them at that location. It's worth a gander if you haven't!
