Awesome story - the table as the heart of the home indeed. I remember fondly all the hours sitting around my parents' table chatting with Dad and working on projects. That is a very popular idea down this way where the 'kitchen party' is the norm for a house gathering.
one comprehensive layout. I like your different layouts and the amount of journalling that you managed to get on each layout without looking crowded. Nice work and great inspiration for your gratitude album.
sounds like our girl, Sasha. I can relate to her not letting us pick her up or jumping on her lap. I love the story you have told here and also the pretty blocks of color you have used in your layout.
I agree with Lei -- it looks very cosy. I don't know if I would get too much work done in such a comfy looking chair. Thanks for sharing your place for some me time.
This is simply beautiful. I love the light through the trees and the colors of the leaves and needles. And your journaling is poetic and moving, as always.
wow. What a beautiful collection! Roses from the garden at the end of November is definitely something to be grateful for - and it must smell terrific too.
What a spectacular sunset that is! The way that the sun is shiny through the clouds is incredible. I love the colors here. Sunsets always make me feel reflective and I am sure it was even more so given the reason for your travel. TFS
One reminder to watch your horizon line to be sure that it is parallel with the frame rather than slating to one side.
What a nice smile your DH has. He looks like a gentle spirit and I'm sure he will be honored to be your everyday hero. I really like your journalling - you are going to have a very inspirational album.
I haven't heard of that series either but will also check it out and see if I can find it in the used book store. I like the colors in your layout and love the journalling about the readers in your family. It is so great to share a book!
