Help For This Week

That's a GREAT question! HERE's a link that will help you upload to the gallery. It should walk you through the steps.

The other thing you'll need to do (before you try to upload) is first, save your layout as a JPEG. Close the PSD file and open the JPEG. In PSE, go Image > Resize > Image Size. Enter 72 ppi for the resolution, then enter 600 px for the height or width (which ever is larger if you have a rectangular layout). Save this as a JPEG, with a name that lets you know that it's your web version. This is what you'll upload to the gallery.

There are several reasons to resize a JPEG, not a PSD. First, sometimes when you resize a PSD, your styles can be distorted. Dropshadows that looked right on the full sized layout are too big, etc. Resizing a JPEG keeps this from happening. The other reason is that if you change your mind and want to make changes later, you'll want your untouched PSD file. It would be a shame (trust me, I've done it!) to have accidentally saved the PSD after resizing it. You can't "unsave" a change like that.

Let me know if you have questions! Looking forward to seeing your work! And welcome to Scrap Girls!

Any of the challenges this week will be going into the Mischief Week Gallery and titled the way it's suggested in the thread of the challenge that you're doing. Remember to go back to the challenge thread and post a link to your layout. If you don't know how to post a link, just ask and you'll get help. HTHs I wanted to help you in the chat but it was moving so fast that I thought this would work better and I see you've gotten your answer! How cool is that! :-)
