marti {pezadoodle} Posted March 6, 2012 Share Posted March 6, 2012 hi all! i decided on a whim to download a trial of PSE 10 (i am still on PSE6) and i went in and added my collected styles to the styles folder like always. restarted everything and they are not showing up. can't for the life of me remember what to do...i think i have this problem every time i add brushes or styles Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ValerieT Posted March 6, 2012 Share Posted March 6, 2012 I have PSE 10 on a window 7 computer. Brushes I load to programme files/adobe/PSE 10/presets/brushes. but to get my styles to work I have to put them in the following place programme data (a hidden file)/adobe/photoshop elements/10/photo creations/layer styles. I then have to delete MediaDatabase.db3 file found in programme data/adobe/PSE/10/locale/en-us. I then restart PSE, it takes a while as it rewrites the file you deleted. If you have alot of styles, you may need to be choosy about which ones you add. I'm not sure if this will work for you because I'm no computer or PSE expert.
