Christmas Lights

This year I decided to play with the manual settings on my camera. I used my tripod and the manual focus & long exposure settings to capture the flickering Christmas lights.

 

I was inspired by Carla' Mount Vernon Christmas Trees for this layout.

WOW, Laraine - your "trials" are super and your photos came out beautifully! I've tried to shoot outdoor Christmas lights like that and it isn't easy and never works for me but I'd say you have a roaring success. What a wonderful display of Christmas cheer and you did a super job scrapping these treasures. Great page and work! :)

I'm so thrilled! I love your photos and when I first saw this, I thought of my own Christmas light photos I need to scrap. North Pole Friends is my favorite Christmas collection!

Fantastic Layout! Your photos look wonderful! I've never had any luck with Christmas light shots. You have truly used the North Pole Collection in a fabulous way.
