2017 JAN

Decided to jump in on this challenge this year; hopefully I get beyond March! One of my goals this year is to spend some time reflecting and reviewing my days and months and a monthly layout might be a good way to do that. (It's been so long; I hope I uploaded this properly).

Journaling reads: Flourish is a word that keeps popping up in my reading and listening; Margaret Feinberg's devotional was a timely gift from a sweet friend. Other words I'm pondering: intention and reflection. Trying to spend time regularly planning, praying, and reflecting about my days (daily, weekly, monthly). Aunt DeeDee is doing so much better since moving to the first floor, getting out and making friends. She so enjoyed Corey's visit and watching him decorate her door. He and I packed a lot of activity into 24+ hours: Sesame Inn, Sing (the movie), shopping for his bday gift and more. Hard to believe 2016 began with burying my dad. Last year was basically a blur but it's good to see Mom settling into her new life. So proud to be her daughter. Floundering a bit creatively (trying too hard perhaps?) I did do a few days of #CreativeBootCamp on CreativeBug, some acrylic painting, and getting back into digital art. Here we go, 2017.

Supplies: ACA_SS_DLO_LotsOfShots, my own background paper

I like the background paper with the splashes of green and blue ... so pretty. Your journaling is wonderful ... I always think that the journaling is the biggest part of telling your story. Glad you are joining in!
