This is for the iNSD Colour Challenge.

The background is made up of two layers, one is a photo of the actual Casa De Azul Pyramid at 23% opacity and Mermaid Cove Coral Paper.

The photo on the top right is a smaller version of the actual pyramid, which I got off the internet. The photo on the bottom left is a replica of the pyramid, which was on display at the Botanical Garden during May through October 2015. The other two photos are of a Red Admiral Butterfly and the Red Hot Poker flowering plant.

Diego Rivera was an avid collector of pre-Hispanic art. He and Frida Kahlo had a stepped pyramid built in the patio of the Casa Azul (also known as Blue House) which they used to display some of his collection pieces.
