text: After the worst ice storm since 1982 had pretty much melted off we took a ride down into Oregon City. Some of the roads had been opened and were safe to drive on. Trees and lines were down everywhere. Saw several trees on vehicles and roofs. We were very careful where we went as limbs and branches were still falling. Was very sad to see. Some of the trees were more than 100+ years old. They may not be able to be saved. The character of the city has been forever changed.

Oh, that's so sad and your photos and the destruction are really awful.   I like the background and colors you used here, you did a great job of showing this momentous event.
