  1. my dad had successful surgery on his aortic aneurysm this am. woohoo and we are relieved he is no longer a walking time bomb!

      In Photoshop, it's an option on the brush icon drop-down. Interesting little tool.

      Jo, I went from PSE to CS5. I've always had that feature. (CS4 doesn't?) There are times where one way is more useful than the other and vice versa.

  9. God literally plopped a new job in my lap this week. Didnt even have to apply; they called me. Technical writing, working from home. So excited to see how God provides.

  12. they've been missing for over a month but i finally found my glasses today - woohoo! right on the floor of my car - passenger side. amazing i didn't see them sooner. soooo happy!

      i just load styles & brushes as needed. with my brush collection growing, i'm finding that to be very inconvenient. it doesn't seem like actions will be a problem to use like that.

      I've never organized my brushes or styles. I load them as I need them too. Then I clear them all out and start fresh every so often. Keeps me using new things.

  14. so far my weekend has included a vehicle breakdown, report of strange behavior by my aunt (that i care for) and a day in the ER (same aunt). not exactly a holiday weekend so far! B)

  15. i have a pseudo-interview tomorrow (with an agency that i've worked for in the past but need to update info). i've about torn my place apart looking for that 2nd form of ID. :wacko: please pray i come up with something!

  16. emma dilemna. toothache that i know means root canal. should i go to my old dentist who is 25 miles away (but the best ever!) or hop skip to someone local? (the last guy fudged up a crown and I can't bear the thought of him doing work on me again!) decisions, decisions.

      Totally agree, go with whom you trust... teeth hurt too much if not done right... 25miles is nothing compared to toothache!

      I just decided to get a second opinion on the 3rd crown recommended by my current dentist. A neighbor had the same dentist and found one who will look for a less invasive way to repair my last natural molar back there.

      a lil' nap did happen, Marilyn! just a wee one but it was enough. one batch (choc chip cookie bars) in the oven, fixing to make the batter for PB cookies and that's it for tonight.

  22. started using myfontbook - free browser-based font viewer. pretty basic but it really helps me see more fonts at a glance.

  24. making beef stroganoff for dinner and just realized i bought bottom round instead of sirloin steak. DH hates chewy meat. what say you; will it work?
