I decided to do some of the Meyer family history.

We can trace the earliest Meyer to Willem Meyer from Essen in Luneburg. He immigrated to this country in 1690.

Henry’s Oupa fought in the 1914-1915 Boer Rebellion.

 It was the most comprehensive war between whites in the history of South Africa.

That is so interesting Belle and I enjoyed your journaling and wow, so cool that you can trace Henry's family that far back.    wonderful photos and page, this is a real treasure.
