Thursday Challenge

I love vignettes, but often feel lost when trying to get the perspective right. Oh well it's a learning process! Anyway, I found the inset photo recently and fell in love with it. I very much remember the mantle at my grandmother's house with all the photos on it. The inset photo was taken in the mid to late 50s. If you look closely, you will see that the photos on my vignette mantle are some of the same ones in the photo. One the left is my Aunt Monie, my brother and I in the middle, and my Dad and Mother on the right. The other pictures in the photo are my cousins, but I don't have those pictures scanned into my computer. a fun challenge! Supplies in EXIF file.

This is wonderful! I love how you re-created a real scene. I especially like the fireplace screen and the pretty flower "painting". The whole page looks great!

Great layout, Karen! I really like how you re-created the scene from the photo and especially how you used some of the same photos. Beautiful! Thanks for taking part in the challenge !

Such wonderful vignettes! I LOVE how the mantle inspired you not only for your layout but also for your vignettes, so very creative. This is fabulous.

How cool to make your own Vignette like your grandmother's mantle and to use some of the same pics. Super work Karen and such a special page. :)
