You did really terrific with this. I was tempted to use hexagons instead of ovals in my original layout, but I was too intimidated with trying to space them properly. You really solved that dilemma by tilting and overlapping them, and I LOVE IT! It does look like your image is scattered on the page, and then blends into the sand. The deep blue is a nice contrast, and I really like the way you picked the sky blue for the title. The people walking on the beach are centered so nicely in the shape as well. Terrific job, and thanks for joining the challenge!

This is awesome Laraine.  Your phot his beautiful and I really like how you have used the shapes to fragment the photo, yet it doesn't look fragmented at all, it only enhances that scene more.   You picked the perfect background to show it all off, your layout is lovely.

And wow, what a view! This is really fabulous. Your use of the hexagons and how you placed them is really cool. I like how it looks like you tossed some sand onto your page before placing your photo on top.
