WOW...can't believe March is almost over

We have a new driver in the house! Lauren passed her road test this morning!

Many of you know Julie Sherwood...a designer at many stores. She passed away from cancer today which was also her birthday. I met Julie at a scrapping meetup quite a few years ago. When I told her I loved her kits and would someday like to be on her CT, she immediately added my name to her group.  RIP, my friend.

We have had a terrorist attack in Christchurch NZ......we have never had anything like this here its so sad. There are at least 40 dead and many seriously ill. Please pray for everyone effected.

We survived the blizzard cyclone, thank goodness. Only about 7 inches of snow but winds up to 75 mph. I had an appointment yesterday AM and could see only about half a block in front of me. I've seen blizzards before but this one was a doozy. My DD and family live farther east and they are still digging out...plus roads are still closed out there.

I forgot to say the my shingles are 95% gone. I can start to scrap more now!

I survived the Wisdom Tooth Removal Weekend.  The first day was hardest.  Now they are just waiting on it to heal enough to be able to eat real food again and to be able to chew properly

Injections in my hand are done...very painful. Wrapped up to keep swelling down but it is swollen and black & blue. Now I dread friday when the straighten it out and do therapy...ouch.

Take both boys in this morning to get their wisdom teeth out.  This should be a fun weekend

My nieces triplets were born today! 5-6 weeks early, but : 

We are pleased to welcome Alyssa, Bryar Rose and Cassiya to the family. 

A was born around 1654p at 16.75 in and 5 lb 1 oz

B was born about 2 mins later at 17.75 in and 4lbs 13.5 oz

C was born about 2 mins later at 17 in and 4lbs 2 oz

All three came vaginally and Mom and babies are doing well

I'm a late 60's grandmother to two beautiful girls, married to my sweet husband for 50 years, and learning my way around Elements after years of being comfortable with Microsoft Picture It...which they no longer make, and will not run on my new computer.  I hope to get back to my scrapbooking after a few years away.  Looking forward to learning this new program and being a part of the scrapbooking community again.

You know it's going to be a GREAT day when you get a Google alert first thing in the morning that someone tried to log in to your account from Brazil.  IF ONLY I was in Brazil instead of the arctic tundra of Missouri.  ?

Another "no school" day...these kids have not gone to school on a Wed since before Christmas break.  Winter can be over now!

I’m going to a wedding!  My friend’s daughter who I’ve known forever is getting married in Israel.  They’ve been sending photos but I’m sitting with a cup of tea waiting for the live feed to begin -- 10 minutes and counting!   

I talked to our son aka Humpty Dumpty this morning, they put him back together again.. He sat up and ate for the first time since Sunday morning. His surgery was over about 1 this morning. They had him up and walking with a walker but after about 4 feet he got rid of it and walked. He should make a great recovery. Thank you all for the support.

Our son was badly injured  in was in a snowmobile accident in Canada on sunday. His friend brought him home ---12 hour drive- but he is  in massive back pain!!!! He was transferred to Hartford Hospital in CT. They will put rods and screws in his back as soon as they can(tomorrow) 

He is not paralyzed  and should be fine. But I am beside myself with worry. I will be going back to CT as soon as DIL needs me....it's the mother thing!

So excited ---the two oldest grandchildren are flying down for a week in the sun with us. Then on friday night our DIL and other grandson are coming down for the weekend...Happy Grammy here I will see all my grandchildren. I will not be around the site much.
